This Thursday October 15th, between 6pm-8pm, we will continue our monthly art openings with the black and white photographs of Katherine T. Jacobs.

Jacobs has created a series of black and white photographs of strangers throughout all fifty states.  Her goal is to compile these images into a book about America’s fascinating, beautiful and hospitable culture. These portraits capture moments throughout America during the troubling times of 2008 and 09, yet they also show the strength of these hard working citizens.

On Thursday October 15th we will once again have our monthly art opening from 6pm-8pm.  This month we will feature the paintings of Andrew Dvoracek.

Andy strives to marry simple objects, ambiguous themes, intricate graphics, repeated images, and dramatic shadows. Toward this end, he tends to gravitate to acrylic paint, silk screening, and photo transferring. At the end of the day, his desire is to make something that is as fun and interesting for the viewer to look at as it was for him to create.

Kelsey’s art opening and reception was a great success.  Not only was it the most attended opening we have ever had but her parents were in town and she sold about 15 pieces.  Not only that but everyone had a fantastic time!
